Work, economy and extinction (both individual and collective) are oftentimes taken into the realm of fantasy in order to create narratives that operate on the border of reality and fiction.\u00a0<\/span><br \/><br \/><span>These ideas are mostly bound to an overall focus on storytelling and auto-fiction. Both writings and exhibitions are guided by narratives that shape the characters and environment in which they take place. The fact that the story which popularized vampires begins with a difficult real estate negotiation sparked my interest in exploring possible narratives between gentrification and the supernatural.\u00a0<\/span><br \/><span>I plan to work on a contemporary fantasy centered on the socio-economic struggles caused by housing market pressures and real estate speculation.
